When and how did you get started in racing?                                                                                  Started racing go-karts in 1978 when my dad bought a kart. My first sprint car ride was in 1987 in Soup Sabos car.

Who had the biggest impact on your racing career and why?                                                        My dad.  he always worked on Soup's car and I can remember going with him to work on the car when I was 6 or 7 years old, and I was hooked from then on.

What is your favorite aspect of racing?                                                                                          The competion, adreline rush, and the good people I have met over the years.

What is your greatest accomplishment/best memory?                                                                     1- KC Raceway during speedweek in 1989. Lead the whole feature until the last 2 laps before getting passed by Todd Kane and Dave Blaney and finished 3rd.
2- Winning a World of Outlaws heat race at Attica in 1993.
3- Track Championship at Attica in 305's in 2006
4- Winning a 410 feature at bryan speedway in 1988 with Jeff Gordon and Johnny Beaber both in the field.

5- Winning the Attica and Fremont 305 points in 2007

What is the worst thing that has happened to you in racing, or your worst season?                Flipping a brand new car at sharon speedway in 1989 on the first lap of the feature in the season opener.

In your own words, describe your 2006
Fremont- very average, too many dnf's
Attica- very consistant, lots of top 5's

What are your plans for the 2008 season
?
Moving to 410's at Attica and Fremont

Where do you see Sprint Car racing  5 years from now?                                                                Hopefully still affordable for the local racer.

What is your ultimate goal?                                                                                                                Just to keep enjoying racing as long as possible

Anything else you would like to add?                                                                                                  I would just like to thank all the people that have supported me through the years. my wife and family, Soup Sabo, The Steinbrick's, The Burmeister's and Burkin's.
